The files Mxsplprs.2da and Mxsplwiz.2da are edited versions of the Baldur's Gate 2 priest and mage spell progression tables allowing greater spell progression (more spells) for those who have removed the experience point cap.

Mxsplprs.2da = Priest/cleric spell tables, allowing spell progression as per AD&D Version 2 advanced tables up to Level 30
Mxsplwiz.2da = Wizard/mage spell tables, allowing spell progression as per AD&D Version 2 advanced tables up to Level 25

The reason that clerics stop progressing at level 30 and mages at level 25 is that they are "full" at that time; clerics have 9 spells from levels 1 to 7 (plus high Wisdom bonus spells,) and mages have 5 spells from levels 1 to 9. There is no more room for advancement without adding more spell slots (which may require source code and compilation or cause problems) or more levels of spells that aren't found in the game.

The cleric spell table in BG2 also had a duplicated line for Level 30 which I removed, possibly fixing a bug in it by doing so.

I didn't include other spellcasters (ie bards, sorcerors and paladins) as they "top out" already without alteration.

*** If your character(s) are already over the previous limit, you will see the new slots when they next level up, not
*** immediately. That is when these tables are checked against the character file memorization and new slots added.

To use:

Simply unzip one or both files depending on whether you would like to uncap your cleric or mage spell progressions, or both, to your BG2 Override folder, and restart BG2 (if it's already running.)
